The veteran Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Malik is currently busy in the ongoing Caribbean Premier League 2019 (CPL 2019). He is playing for Guyana Amazon Warriors who have secured their place for the final spot of CPL 2019 on the last night.
It was the Qualifier 1 match of CPL 2019 between the top two teams of the final points table. Points table leader Guyana Amazon Warriors, who won all their league stage matches in CPL 2019, faced second-positioned team Barbados Tridents on last Sunday night. While Shoaib Malik-led Warriors scored 218/3 (20 overs) at first batting, Tridents managed to reply with 188/8 (20 overs). Warriors won the match by 30 runs and qualified for the final. The in-form Warriors are now desperate to win their maiden CPL trophy.

During that Qualifier 1 match, Warriors opener Brandon King (132*) registered the highest individual score in CPL history. Meanwhile, their skipper Shoaib Malik was the second-highest run-scorer in that innings as he scored 32 runs off 19 balls (3 sixes).
