Highest run scorer and player of the series during the recent England series, Smriti Mandhana attains career’s highest fourth place in batting list of the latest ICC rankings.

Earlier, she was lagging ten spots behind in the charts of MRF Tyres ICC Women’s ODI Rankings for batters. Mandhana amassed 181 runs in the series, smashing a whopping 14 boundaries in the series.

The Indian World Cup sensation Smriti was an integral part of India’s recent 2-1 win over World Champions England.

Since the beginning of the Women’s ICC Championship, she has been in incredible form.

Also, Smriti Mandhana made runs at the challenging conditions of South Africa, while also dominating the best bowling attacks of Australia and England at home.

Meanwhile, Deepti Sharma who impressed one and all with her all-round skills in the finals of the series is now placed 16th amongst the batters. She jumped eight places – to reach the present standings.

Amongst others, power batter Danielle Wyatt of England, has made 17 places upwards – to occupy the 42nd spot in T20I cricket.

Further, the one who caused Mithali Raj all the trouble, England’s Danielle Hazell, climbs 16 places to the 12th place. She picked up six wickets at an average of 16.33, while making the Indian captain her bunny.

Sophie Ecclestone, the young left-arm spinner with just seven ODIs behind her, rode on a remarkable four 14 in the second ODI, to go with four for 37 in the first, to leap 51 places to the 45th spot among bowlers early in her career.

Ellyse Perry continues to hold the top spot among batters as well as all-rounders, while Jess Jonassen is first among bowlers after the latest update.
