It is a tough day to digest for the Indian cricket fans, as the stylish southpaw of the Indian Cricket Yuvraj Singh called curtains on his career. The flamboyant batsman called for a press meet on Monday in Mumbai, where he called announced the decision to retire from International cricket.

Yuvraj made his debut in 2000 Champions Trophy against Kenya – where he did not get to bat in his maiden match in the 50-over format. However, in the next match against Australia, the flamboyant left-hander made an immediate impact as he scored a well-crafted 80-ball 84 against Australia.

Yuvraj also showed his prowess in the field as he first took a brilliant catch to dismiss Ian Harvey and followed it with a direct hit to remove the dangerous Michael Bevan. Now, he got quite a few top awards to showcase.
