Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) president Sourav Ganguly congratulated the board and other members for the successful organization of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020. He also thanked the players for going through a tough bio-bubble to make the tournament happen.
Taking to Twitter, Sourav Ganguly also said that bio-bubble was mentally tough, but the strong commitment has led the two-month-long tournament possible.
“BCCI along with the office bearers I personally thank all the players of each IPL team, for going thru the tuff bio bubble to make this tournament possible..it was tuff mentally, and ur commitment makes Indian cricket what it is @JayShah @ThakurArunS,” Sourav Ganguly Tweeted.
IPL 2020 ends with Mumbai Indians as the winners:

Initially, the IPL 2020 was scheduled to begin in March, but the outbreak of the coronavirus postponed the league. Seeing the increase in the number of cases worldwide, nobody had hope of rescheduling the league. But BCCI was determined and took the cash-rich league outside India.
The entire tournament was set up in the United Arab Emirates for the first time, but still many had speculated the T20 league would be halted. With 13 personnel in CSK camp testing positive, threat loomed on cancellation of the most-watched tournament. But BCCI passed the hurdle, and the 13th edition of the league was started on September 19.

The tournament had several interesting competition as it witnessed three super overs and first time double super over. Overall, an excellent brand of cricket was presented throughout the tournament which entertained fans in the tough times.
The IPL 2020 journey ended with Mumbai Indians lifting the trophy after beating Delhi Capitals, who first time reached the grand finale of the tournament. The Rohit Sharma-led team has also become only the second team to defend the title.
