The partnership between Sourav Ganguly and Sachin Tendulkar is not only famous for the duo being on the field but also off the field as well. The duo had often pulled each other’s leg on social media. Recently, the BCCI President Sourav Ganguly hilariously trolled Sachin Tendulkar.
The master blaster was part of the recently-concluded Bushfire Cricket Bash which was played in Australia. Sachin represented as a coach of the Ricky Ponting-led team. Whereas, he also faced the challenge from Australia’s woman cricketer Ellyse Perry to face her over.
The charity game raised USD 7.7 Million which featured the legends of the game around the world. The fund raised was subsequently donated to the victims of devastating Bushfires which hit Australia last year.
After the conclusion of the game, Sachin spent some quality time in Australia. He shared one of the pictures where he was soaking up the sun.
Here is the post from Sachin Tendulkar:
Funny Banter between Sourav Ganguly And Sachin Tendulkar:
Well, the picture shared by Sachin didn’t help Sourav Ganguly, who is busy handling the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). Ganguly was a bit jealous of seeing his partner spending the vacations while he is surrounded by workload.
Thus, Ganguly came up with a hilarious reply:
“Kisi Kisi ka kismat acha hai .. chuttii manate raho (some people have great luck, keep enjoying your holidays).”
Tendulkar then reacted to Ganguly’s comment too, saying that the holiday was worthwhile as he and others raised $10 million for the good cause.
Meanwhile, Sachin will be again in action, in the Road safety World series which will start from 7 March.
In almost a month-long series, a total of 11 matches will be played at different venues.
Mumbai’s historic Wankhede Stadium will inaugurate the series with the match between Sachin Tendulkar-led India Legends and Brian Lara’s West Indies Legends.
