Fastest (no. of matches) to 100 wickets – In first ODI of 5-match ODI series between Sri Lanka and Australia at Colombo (RPS), Australian pacer Mitchell Starc completed his 100th ODI wicket after dismissing Sri Lankan batsman Dhananjaya de Silva. Starc took 52 ODI matches to achieve this feat which is the fastest (in terms of no. of matches) to take 100 ODI wickets by a bowler. The previous record holder was former Pakistan off-spinner Saqlin Mushtaq who had taken 53 ODI matches to achieve this feat.
