Highest no.of centuries as a no.6 batsman – On the fourth day of the 1st Test (day-night) between Australia vs Pakistan (3-match Test series) at Brisbane, Pakistan’s no.6 batsman Asad Shafiq hit his 9th Test century. All of his 9 Test centuries had come as a no.6 batsman which is the highest no.of Test centuries as a no.6 batsman. The previous record holder was Sir Garry Sobers (West Indies) with 8 Test centuries as a no.6 batsman.
