Most dismissals by a wicket-keeper in a calendar year – On the day 3 of the third Test between India and England (5-match Test series) at Mohali, England wicket-keeper Jonny Bairstow became the new record holder of most Test dismissals affected by a wicket-keeper in a calendar year. The previous record holder was former Australian wicket-keeper Ian Healey with 67 Test dismissals (1993). As a wicket-keeper, Bairstow made 70 Test dismissals in 2016.
