Roston Chase

Roston Chase 137* vs India – There were only two things on India’s tour to West Indies that prevented West Indies from losing all the four games of the series, Roston Chase innings of 137* and second was the rain.

The rain threat was present throughout the series and as a result, it washed a total of seven days in the series including almost a complete washout of the fourth Test match.
Roston Chase made his Test debut in the first game of the series but it was the second game where he showed worth. The Indian team, who possessed a lead of 304 runs at end of two their second innings, needed just 10 wickets in final two days but a gritty innings from Roston Chase kept India at bay.

Indian bowlers, who were in hope of quick wickets on the final day were made to toil by Roston Chase and thus the match ended in a draw.
