Sreesanth, 37, was banned for a lifetime before pleading for reducing his ban in the high court. In 2019, BCCI cut off his ban to seven years.

Earlier, the speedster was included in the list of players for the local T20 event in Alappuzha this month. But the inaugural KCA President’s Cup T20 was deferred as the KCA did not get the government nod due to the spread of coronavirus.
The discarded India pacer, who played 27 Tests, 53 ODIs, and 10 T20Is, last played international cricket in August 2011.
