The two best batsmen Virat Kohli and Steve Smith will face each other in the upcoming IPL and later, during the bilateral series in Australia. Indian team is scheduled to tour Australia to play the limited-overs leg and the much-awaited Test series.

Currently, Steve Smith is busy playing the bilateral series against England at their home. He didn’t have much success in the recent concluded T20I series as his side lost the series by 2-1. He returned with the figure of 18, 10, and 3 respectively in that three-match series. Now, the two teams will play the three-match ODI series starting from 11 September.

Soon after playing the ODI series, the England and Australian players who are contractually bound with the IPL franchise will travel to UAE to play the tournament scheduled to begin from 19th September.
