While India and Pakistan are struggling like the many other countries to beat the novel COVID-19 or coronavirus, suddenly there are rising some talks about the bilateral cricket series between India and Pakistan. The legendary Indian cricketer Sunil Gavaskar has now given his view on the possibility of the bilateral series between India and Pakistan at the present moment.

India and Pakistan haven’t played a bilateral cricket series since January 2013. Moreover, last time, they met in a Test match in December 2007. In recent time, India and Pakistan only face each other in the only International Cricket Council (ICC) or Asian Cricket Council (ACC) tournaments.

The former Indian World Cup-winning captain Kapil Dev has vehemently opposed this idea. Meanwhile, another former Pakistan all-rounder Shahid Afridi has defended Akhtar on this matter.
