Most consecutive T20 matches for a team

It is not only about an IPL record, but it is also about a record in T20 history. From 19th April 2008 to 10th April 2018, when Chennai Super Kings (CSK) played a T20 match, Suresh Raina was always in the playing XI, either in IPL or Champions League T20. He is still the only player to appear in 150 successive T20 matches for a team as he appeared in 158 consecutive T20 matches for the CSK during that period.
The second-best record in this list is Steven Croft’s 148 successive T20 matches for the Lancashire (from 27th June 2006 to 18th July 2018). The present best record is running Jeetan Patel’s 120 successive T20 matches for Birmingham Bears (from 2nd June 2011).
On the other hand, during that specific 2008-2018 period, Raina played 134 consecutive IPL matches for the CSK. Rohit Sharma came so close to beat that record but finished with 133 consecutive IPL matches for the Mumbai Indians (MI) as that streak ended after missing one match in the IPL 2019.
