In this weekend, the Indian cricketers Suresh Raina, Mohammed Shami and Piyush Chawla together were present in the net practice. On last Saturday (18th July), Raina posted a video of their net practice on his official social media accounts.
Due to coronavirus pandemic, the cricket activities are currently inactive in India. However, the players can personally start their training session. Suresh Raina, Mohammed Shami and Piyush Chawla enjoyed the net practice in this weekend where the 33-year-old Raina faced both the 29-year-old pacer Shami and 31-year-old leg-spinner Chawla.
Posting an edited video, Raina wrote, “When you nailed your practice this week and ready to enjoy the weekend practice with none other than @MdShami11 & piyush Chawla ? Keeping the momentum going! Good start to the weekend! ?? Enjoy the little victories, Happy weekend !?✌️”

Suresh Raina and Piyush Chawla are currently out of the Indian squad, but Mohammed Shami is the crucial member of the Indian team
Among them, Shami is currently active in the national team as he is one of the most important members in the present Indian pace-bowling line-up. After his international debut in January 2013, Shami has played 49 Tests, 77 ODIs and 11 T20Is. When India played their last international match during the Christchurch Test against the hosts New Zealand in last February-March, Shami also featured in that game.

On the other hand, both Suresh Raina and Piyush Chawla, who were the members of ICC Cricket World Cup 2011-winning Indian team, are currently not getting any opportunities in the national side.

Once, Raina was one of the crucial members of the Indian limited-overs sides as he played 18 Tests, 226 ODIs and 78 T20Is after making his international debut in July 2005.

Raina’s last international match was in July 2018 during the limited-overs series in England. After the IPL 2019 final, he hasn’t played any recognised cricket match yet due to his knee injury which forced him to undergo a surgery. He is currently fit now and eager to return on the field as soon as possible.
Chawla made his international debut at the age of just 17-year-old in March 2005, during Mohali Test against England. He has played three Tests, 25 ODIs and seven T20Is till December 2012.
