T10 League 2018: Bengal Tigers vs Northern Warriors, 3rd Match – Review. The fast-paced game has once again delivered a high-scoring game at Sharjah. The scintillating performance by Jason Roy and the collective bowling effort helped Bengal Tigers seal the game against Northern Warriors.

Jason Roy-Sherfane Rutherford delivered for Bengal:

Initially, it was Northern Warriors, who won the toss and asked Bengal to bat first. They were successful in sending Sunil Narine back to the hut but unfortunately, failed to work on their plans against Roy and Rutherford.

The duo went berserk to put a massive tally on the board. The English opener Jason Roy smashed 60 runs off just 29 balls by scoring six fours and three sixes to his name. On the other end, Rutherford took the onus of finishing the innings.

He whacked 47 runs off just 21 balls by smashing four fours and as many sixes. The duo remained unbeaten to post a healthy target of 130 runs on the board. However, none of the Northern bowlers looked like troubling the duo.

Collective bowling effort does it for Bengal:

In reply to the chase, Windies opening duo Lendl Simmons and Dwayne Smith struggled in knocking the runs at a quick pace. Dwayne Smith, who looked like getting into his zone was sent back by Sunil Narine.

However, then walked Andre Russell with a lot of hope on his shoulder. But, unfortunately, he was knocked out for a golden duck when Sunil Narine bowled a stunning piece of delivery.

Lendl Simmons tried his best to make it happen for the Northern side but all he managed was 44 runs off 28 balls, which can never be sufficient in such a huge chase. Aamer Yamin was the pick of the bowlers, who picked four wickets for four runs. He bagged four wickets in four balls in his second over, which was also a maiden.
