T10 League 2018: Dwayne Bravo Takes Captaincy Charges for Maratha Arabians
Dwayne Bravo, the former Windies all-rounder, who recently retired from international cricket to give youngsters a chance got appointed as the skipper for Maratha Arabians in the upcoming T10 League 2018.
Meanwhile, Maratha Arabians are co-owned by Parvez Khan of Pacific Ventures, Bollywood Actor-Producer-Director, Sohail Khan and Ali Tumbi of Aqua Properties. Previously, they grabbed the services of Virender Sehwag and Wasim Akram in the coaching panel as well.

Virender Sehwag to take batting coach role:
The former India opener, Virender Sehwag will look after the batting department. Meanwhile, the legendary Pakistan player, Wasim Akram was asked to take the head coach role for the 2018 edition.
On Tuesday night, the franchise released their skipper’s name and also disclosed the anthem of the team for their fans. However, the franchise consists of the top-class players across the globe including India, as Subramanium Badrinath will ply his trade for the franchise.

Speaking at the event, Virender Sehwag quoted saying ”When I played the tournament last year it gave me an adrenaline rush like never before. This time I am here as the batting coach and it has the same feel like before. And also, we have an exciting squad full of impact players. The fact that the tournament aims to entertain the fans at large fits in well with me because that has been my philosophy always.”
Maratha Arabians Co-owner Parvez Khan said: “At Pacific Ventures we have always been closely associated with cricket. Owning a franchise in the format is a special honour for us because it takes us back to our roots in Maharashtra. The presence of legends like Virender Sehwag and Wasim Akram means that we have the best possible advice for our squad.”
