The novel COVID-19 or coronavirus has forced to postpone many recent cricket matches and some other upcoming cricket matches are also in danger to face the same postponement fate. In this crisis moment, the T10 League has come up with some positive news by announcing the dates of the T10 League 2020 or Abu Dhabi T10 2020.
The T10 League 2020 will be the fourth edition of this 10-over format cricket league which will run from 19th to 28th November 2020. While Australia will host the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2020 from 18th October to 15th November 2020, the T10 League 2020 will begin four days after the final of the men’s T20 World Cup.

The T10 League has been officially sanctioned by the International Cricket Council (ICC). Each innings run for 10-overs and the match duration is 90 minutes. While the Emirates Cricket Board organises this tournament, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) hosts these matches.
The tournament started in December 2017, and it is happening in every year. Sharjah Cricket Stadium (Sharjah) hosted the entire first two seasons of this tournament while Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium (Abu Dhabi) hosted the entire third edition of this tournament. The T10 League has also revealed that Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium (Abu Dhabi) will also host the upcoming edition of the tournament.

During the announcement of this upcoming tournament in their social media accounts, the league stated, “The Aldar Properties Abu Dhabi T10 is scheduled for 19-28 November 2020 and will take place only upon the approval of the concerned Government authorities.”
A brief history of T10 League
In the first season of this tournament, six teams participated and 13 matches were played. In the next two seasons, eight teams participated and 29 matches were played in each season. Many world cricket stars have experienced this league.

During the first edition, after the Group stages, the Playoffs and knockout stages were organised. In the last two editions, after the two-stage of round-robin leagues, the tournament followed the Playoffs stages, finishing with the tournament final.

Kerala Kings won the first edition of this tournament while Northern Warriors and Maratha Arabians lifted the trophy in the second and third edition respectively.
