South Africa – 15 times

Since their return to international cricket, South Africa have shown strong character in international cricket. The country has managed to bring many talented, powerful batsmen in the ODI format.
South African batsmen have scored 150+ ODI knocks for the 15 times. Nine different South African players have registered 150+ scores, including four times from Hashim Amla, twice from Quinton de Kock, AB de Villiers and Herschelle Gibbs. While Gibbs’ 175 against Australia in the historic 2006 Johannesburg ODI helped to chase then record ODI total 435 runs, the highest individual ODI score by a South African batsman is 188 not out by Gary Kirsten (against UAE at Rawalpindi on 16th February 1996).
