The two-time Cricket World Cup champions Indian team is known for their batting. The country has produced many legendary batsmen, and the line-up is still going on without taking a break.

Indian batsmen have recorded 29 times 150+ ODI knocks and a total of 12 different Indian batsmen have been involved in this record. Rohit Sharma has hit 150+ ODI knocks for the record eight times, while Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli have hit it for five and four times respectively. Also, Virender Sehwag, Sourav Ganguly and Gautam Gambhir played 150+ ODI knocks for twice each.

While the Indian batsmen have hit five ODI double-centuries, including thrice by Rohit Sharma, their highest individual ODI score is the record score 264 runs by Rohit Sharma (against Sri Lanka at Kolkata on 13th November 2014).
