Wilf Slack (Nationality: England) – 1989

The 34-year-old English left-handed top-order batsman Wilf Slack was batting at The Gambia while he suffered a heart attack. Soon, he was taken to the hospital but he never returned as he died on 15th January 1989. At that time, he was on a friendly tour to The Gambia for the Cavaliers XI.
During his cricket career, Wilf Slack faced a number of times blackouts either on the field or in the nets. But the tests failed to identify his life-threatening issue.
Wilf Slack also played international cricket for England. He played three Tests and two ODIs in 1986.
