Ian Folley (Nationality: England) – 1993
During the match against Workington, the 30-year-old Whitehaven cricketer Ian Folley received an eye injury while batting. After he was taken to the hospital, he was facing a minor operation that could repair his affected eyeball. But while Folley was under anaesthetic, he suffered a heart attack and died.
