Wasim Raja (Nationality: Pakistan) – 2006

The 1992 Cricket World Cup-winning member Ramiz Raja‘s elder brother Wasim Raja was also a reputed Pakistan cricketer. In August 2006, while the 54-year-old was playing for Surrey over-50s side, he suffered a massive heart attack on the field and immediately collapsed. After feeling uneasiness on the field, he was moving to the dressing room but collapsed on the boundary. Soon, he was declared dead.
From 1973 to 1985, Wasim Raja played 57 Tests and 54 ODIs for Pakistan. He also played the ICC match referee role in 49 international matches (34 ODIs and 15 Tests) from 2002 to 2004.
