- Bowled Out
Bowled out is one of the common terms used in cricket. It is used on two different occasions. Those are:
a) When a batsman is dismissed by a bowler with a delivery hitting the stumps and-and the bails get dislodged, then it is called bowled or bowled out. However, bowled out is actually incorrect in that situation as bowled itself is a dismissal, so no need to adding ‘out’ with it. But verbally it is a very common term in world cricket.

b) In cricket, “Bowled Out” originally refers to when a team is all out of in an innings. A team gets all out when their 10 out of 11 batsmen are dismissed or unable anyone to bat due to injury or illness.
