On Tuesday (3 March), Thailand women’s cricket team featured in their last game of the ongoing ICC Women’s T20 tournament against Pakistan. Although they haven’t won a game in the mega event, they have gained a lot of respect and love from the cricket fans. In all the matches, they were a true example of sportsmanship
For the first time, they featured in the mega event and nobody had too many expectations from them. But they were surely a surprise package as again the opposition like South Africa and England, they fearlessly faced them, giving their best performance.

At Sydney ground, they played the last game of the tournament against Pakistan. Thai women showed that they take every competition seriously unlike Pakistan who played a below-average game.
With the contribution of Nattakan Chantam, who scored gritty fifty, and Nattaya Boochatham, Nannapat Koncharoenkai, and Chanida Sutthiruang, Thailand posted for 150 for three.
However, all their efforts went into vain as rain interrupted the game and Pakistan could not get the chance to bat. Thus, the match was declared abandoned. But it didn’t affect Thailand women’s cricket team’s spirit as they were spotted dancing in the field.
T20 World Cup, on their official social media handle, also shared Thai women’s dance moves.
Here is the clip:
During the rain delay, Thailand kept the fans entertained on the big screen with an impromptu dance-off ?

They were a full entertainment package and showed kind gestures against the opposition during the whole tournament. They started the event with bowing down to all corners of the ground and soon won the hearts of many.
Despite having an upset end, they set up examples for every other team and the above video speaks for it.
Meanwhile, India, England, South Africa, and Australia have entered the semi-finals. However, which two teams will face each other in a clash is still not clear.
