India national cricket team vice-captain Rohit Sharma has confirmed that the outside opinion never matters to the team. The bonding within the team is strong and it is crucial to back the plans within the team. The Indian team has played with great success in the recent past and they have ticked the right boxes.

Meanwhile, it is also noticeable that the players have respect for each other and they have a mutual understanding with each other. Virat Kohli, who is the leader of the side has backed the young talent in the team and everyone is having the freedom to give his inputs in the team’s rendezvous.

Rohit Sharma said while talking to India Today, “The team is like a fortress. There are 15 people inside it and whatever anyone can say from the outside, the 15 inside will not get influenced.”

On the other hand, Rohit Sharma has done a fine job for the Indian team. Rohit stated that he is aware of his role and he is in a good space of mind. Furthermore, it was noticed that Rohit Sharma used to play rash shots early on in his career. However, the flamboyant batsman has been able to learn from his mistakes and he is now one of the best batsmen in the World.

I have learned from my mistakes.

“I am aware of my role. Shikhar Dhawan and I know we have to lay the foundation. I enjoy the challenge. I am in the best mental space as a batsman. With maturity, I have been able to understand my game better. I have learnt from my mistakes in the past,” Rohit Sharma said.

Meanwhile, India’s bowling line-up is one of the strongest in the world. They have shown an upward swing in their improvement graph and have ticked the right boxes. Moreover, Rohit Sharma is not losing sleep over the poor form of Kuldeep Yadav, who has struggled to get going for the Kolkata Knight Riders.

“Certainly, this is one of the most complete bowling attacks. I am not bothered about Kuldeep Yadav’s lack of success in the Indian Premier League because franchise cricket and playing for India are very different,” Rohit said.

On the other hand, Jasprit Bumrah has done a fine job for the Indian team. Bumrah has improved with every game and he is going to be the key for the team in the forthcoming World Cup. Rohit also revealed the success behind Bumrah.

Rohit added: “The secret to Jasprit Bumrah’s success is he understands the batsman very very well and keeps it as simple as possible. While he has all the skills and all the balls in his repertoire, he keeps it very simple in his mind.”

Meanwhile, the Indian team is a potent unit and they would like to come with a complete performance in the upcoming ICC World Cup. India will begin their World Cup campaign against South Africa on 5th June at Southampton.
