Kedar Jadhav couldn’t prove his mettle with the bat in particular. In the World Cup, Jadhav had managed just 80 runs in five innings which saw his strike-rate of 80.81.

The 34-year-old Jadhav will turn 38 in 2023. So, it is highly unlikely that he will partake in the next World Cup.

In the meantime, Jadhav had a couple of opportunities to roll over his arm. But he couldn’t deliver with the ball after bowling in as many as three matches.

All in all, he might not get an extended run in the 50-over fold.
