Cancellation of ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2020

Australia will host the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2020 from 18th October to 15th November 2020. In the last February-March, Australia successfully hosted the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2020 along with jam-packed stadiums. However, the coronavirus has changed the situation rapidly in the country and the world.
Though Australia is now controlling the coronavirus situation very well, it is still too early to say normal and out of danger. To successfully host the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2020 on time, Australia needs to make sure that the crisis situation is over in the country as well as the other countries also need to recover from the pandemic situation.
As the event will be an international tournament, the International Cricket Council (ICC) and Local Organising Committee (LOC) need to put extra care in every aspect. So, if the global crisis situation can’t be controlled properly in time, the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2020 will be unfortunately cancelled.
