Tim Seifert Replaces Ali Khan In KKR
Fast bowler Ali Khan grabbed headlights when he dismissed Kumar Sangakkara in his first-ever delivery in the West Indian domestic T20 league. He was amongst the earliest players performing consistently from the USA to be picked in the domestic West Indian T20 League.
Ali Khan is known for generating pace and has been a part of other T20 leagues as well. He has worked alongside Pakistan’s former pacer Waqar Younis but carried the side strain from the CPL into the IPL in 2020. Ali Khan picked up 35 wickets from 31 matches averaging 24.14 in CPL so far for TKR.

Tim Seifert, too, is a short-format specialist like Ali Khan, who has turned out for New Zealand in three ODIs and 24 T20Is and averages 22.85 with a strike rate of 139.75 in the latter with three fifties.
He was Ali Khan’s colleague during the Trinbago Knight Riders’ title-winning run at the CPL but did not enjoy the slow and sluggish pitches to score just 133 runs in nine innings and 12 matches at a strike rate of 109.91.
