5. DANIEL VETTORI (NZ) – 92 WICKETS
Daniel Vettori is the eighth player in Test history to take 300 wickets and score 3,000 runs. Vettori used to be a bowling all-rounder who bowled slow left-arm orthodox spin; he surprised the cricketing world for his accuracy, flight and guile rather than prodigious turn. He was also one of the more consistent and effective batsmen in the New Zealand cricket team.
Vettori had taken 92 Wickets during his captaincy. the former New Zeeland skipper stands 5th in the list equaling Waqar Younis, Who has picked up the same number of wickets but with matches less than Vettori.
