- Jacques Kallis (Cape Town – 2181 runs):
Arguably the greatest all rounder in modern history, Kallis was an absolute champion with the bat with over 13000 test career runs at a jaw dropping average of above 55. Kallis remains the greatest cricketer from South Africa and his relationship with his nation remains intimate. Kallis loved batting at Cape Town and that is evident with his tally of 2181 runs at the Newlands Stadium in Cape Town. He was at his supreme best at this picturesque venue as he notched up nine centuries in 35 innings. His performance against India at Cape Town in January 2011 was impeccable to say the least.
