Shane Watson (Australia) – 185* against Bangladesh at Dhaka on 11th April 2011

This ODI was played soon after the completion of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011. It was the second ODI of the three-match series between the hosts Bangladesh and the visitors Australia. The hosts decided to bat first and were restricted to 229/7 (50 overs).
In reply, the Aussie opener Shane Watson took the major responsibility to successfully chase that target as he secured the victory almost single-handedly. After completing a century in just 69 balls, Waston continued his aggressive batting and remained not out of 185 runs off just 96 balls (15 fours and 15 sixes). Australia lost only one wicket as another opener Brad Haddin for just eight runs (lost the wicket when Australia were on 62 runs), and they chased down the target in just 26 overs to take the 2-0 lead in that series.
