Former Sri Lankan cricketer Tillakaratne Dilshan was famous for his scoop shots. The right-handed batsman was fearless and confident during playing these shots as he utilised those shots even against the fastest bowlers too. Most of the times, he had excellent timing when he went for that kind of shot.

Dilshan served for the Sri Lankan team between 1999 and 2016. He played 87 Tests, 330 ODIs and 80 T20Is where he scored 5492 runs (average 40.98), 10290 runs (average 39.27) and 1889 runs (average 28.19) respectively.
