Virender Sehwag (24 years and 178 days)
Former Indian aggressive opener Virender Sehwag was an entertaining and successful batsman. Sehwag led the Indian ODI team frequently in 12 ODIs from 2003 to 2012, where his side won seven games and lost the other five matches.
Sehwag first time experienced his captaincy for the Indian team at the age of 24 years and 178 days when the Indian team faced Bangladesh at Dhaka on 16th April 2003. Sehwag is still holding the record of highest individual ODI score as a captain which was 219 against the West Indies at Indore on 8th December 2011.
