The legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar is holding many batting records in international cricket and it is his other ODI record but only for the Indian team as he is still the youngest ODI captain for India. At the age of just 23 years and 126 days, Tendulkar first time led the Indian ODI team on 28th August 1996 during the Colombo (RPS) ODI against Sri Lanka.
However, Tendulkar’s captaincy period was not so remarkable enough. From 1996 to 2000, while Tendulkar led the Indian team in 73 ODIs, his team won 23 games and lost 43 matches (one tied and six no results).
