India’s opener Virender Sehwag loved to score his runs at a healthy strike rate. Sehwag was known to hit the ground running with his pugnacious batting. The talisman would take the attack to the opposition and played a key role in the success of the Indian team over the years.

Sehwag amassed 8273 runs in 251 ODI matches at an average of 35.06 and an impressive strike rate of 104.34. The former Delhi batsman scored 4398 runs in the first ten overs in the 50-overs version since 2002.
