Richie Richardson – 132Top Five Cricketers To Play Most Consecutive ODIs 1

As of now, West Indies legend Richie Richardson has played the fifth most number of consecutive matches in ODI History.

He appeared in 132 consecutive matches between 17 January 1987 and 1 November 1993.

Richie was one of the most stylish batsmen that have ever stepped into the world cricket, and, for a while, he was crowned the best in the world. His fearless batting without a helmet almost throughout his career is still regarded as one of the bravest act in West Indies cricket.

Despite never quite been able to emerge from the enormous shadow of his Antiguan friend, philosopher and guide Viv Richards, he proved to be the most successful West Indian batsman in the late eighties and the early nineties.
