It was the third and final ODI of that 2013 Women’s Ashes series between England Women and Australia Women at Brighton. Due to the early rain-interruption, it was the 36-overs per side game.
While Australia Women were batting after winning the toss, this remarkable catching incident happened in that innings. During the 26th over of that innings, Australia Women’s captain Jodie Fields tried to play a reverse-sweep to the off-spinner Danielle Hazell which travelled to the vacant first slip position. However, Taylor was aware of that shot, so she stretched herself to that ball and finally grabbed that catch in a stunning way. Fields lost her wicket on 27 runs while her team went down to 126/4.
