6. Ian Healy (Australia) – dismissed Sanath Jayasuriya (Sri Lanka)

In international cricket history, Ian Healy was known as one of the greatest wicketkeepers who had brilliant wicket-keeping skills along with an intelligent brain. Out of his many international dismissals making, this catch was one of his top catches.
During the third match of the quadrangular ODI series (Singer World Series) between Sri Lanka and Australia at Colombo (RPS) on 30th August 1996, Ian Healy took this fantastic catch.
After Australia set the 229 runs target for the host side (Sri Lanka), Sri Lankan opener Sanath Jayasuriya provided his familiar beginning in a firing style. After scoring 44 runs, Jayasuriya played an aggressive shot to the Aussie pacer Damien Fleming that took an edge and went to the slip cordon. Initially standing at little widish position, Healy pulled out a stunning catch by making a superb dive to his left side. Jayasuriya was dismissed on 44 runs off 28 balls while Sri Lanka was battling on 78/3 in 12.1 overs.
