3. Jason Gillespie

On his 31st birthday, Australian cricketer Jason Gillespie grabbed the headline, not for his familiar bowling, but his incredible batting. It was the Chattogram Test against Bangladesh, where Gillespie scored 201 not out (425 balls) on 19th April 2006. Coming to bat at no.3 as a nightwatchman on 17th April 2006, Gillespie remained not out on that day on 28 runs. On the next day, he was not out on 102 runs. Till the date, Gillespie is the only nightwatchman to score a Test double-century. Unfortunately, it was Gillespie’s last international match.
