In the early periods of ODI cricket, Indian spin bowlers dominated over the pacers. With time progresses, Indian pace bowlers have grown up with the top skills. At present, both Indian pacers and spinners are dominating the ODI cricket.
A total of 227 Indian cricketers have played ODI cricket and India’s total ODI wicket number is 6,181 (including 140 times four-wicket hauls and 44 times five-wicket hauls). Former leg-spinner Anil Kumble (334 wickets) is leading the most ODI wickets table for the Indian national cricket team.
