8. AG Milkha Singh – 18 years and 13 days

In January 1960, during the Chennai Test against Australia, AG Milkha Singh made his Test debut at the age of 18 years and 13 days. The left-handed middle-order batsman scored 16 and 9 runs in that match while India suffered a defeat by an innings and 55 runs.

In domestic cricket, AG Milkha Singh was a dashing batsman and an excellent fielder. However, in his very short international career span, he played only four Tests where he scored 92 runs (average 15.33).
