Here we are talking about the replacements of the IPL 2020
Chris Woakes – Anrich Nortje

In the early-March, the 31-year-old England all-rounder Chris Woakes opted out from the IPL 2020 as then the tournament was scheduled to run between 29th March and 24th May, which was later postponed amid coronavirus outbreak. Woakes, who would serve for Delhi Capitals (DC) in the IPL 13, decided to not participate in this IPL season due to focus on his England career. Later, he also revealed that he was expecting the birth of his child this September which also forced him to opt himself out from this tournament.
The 26-year-old South African right-arm fast bowler Anrich Nortje has replaced Woakes in the Delhi Capitals squad for the IPL 2020. While he has played 16 international matches for South Africa, it will be his first IPL experience.
