Jason Roy – Daniel Sams
The 30-year-old South Africa-born English opening batsman Jason Roy has been ruled out from the IPL 2020 due to his side strain issue. He was also an overseas player of Delhi Capitals (DC) for the IPL 2020.
Later, the 27-year-old uncapped Australian all-rounder Daniel Sams replaced Jason Roy for the forthcoming IPL season. In the Big Bash League 2019/20, Sams finished as the most wicket-taker as he took 30 wickets in that seasons – the record most wickets in a BBL season. Sams has no previous experience in the IPL.
