Harry Gurney – Ali Khan
The 33-year-old England left-arm pacer Harry Gurney, who would play for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the forthcoming IPL 2020, has been ruled out from the 13th edition of the IPL due to shoulder injury. In the IPL 2019, he played eight matches for the KKR where he managed to pick up seven wickets.
The 29-year-old Pakistan-born USA right-arm pacer Ali Khan has replaced Gurney in the KKR squad for the upcoming edition. He is the first American cricketer to join IPL. Ali Khan, who has played one ODI for the USA, recently impressed in the CPL 2020 where he took eight wickets in eight matches for Trinbago Knight Riders.
