The Indian skipper Virat Kohli had registered a second-ball duck in the first Test match against Bangladesh at Indore. It is rarely a case when Kohli doesn’t score a big score in a particular series. Kohli roar back at his best as he scored his 27th century in the Test fold.
Virat Kohli scored 12 fours in his sublime knock and thus, as usual, he scored a lot of his runs in singles and doubles. The right-hander batted at the top of his game and drove majestically in his century knock. The linchpin was brilliant in driving the ball and put on an exhibition of shots.

In fact, Kohli was able to hit the ground running on an opening day of the Test match. Kohli had no issues in playing against the pink ball and becomes the first Indian batsman to score a hundred in day-night Tests.
The talisman hardly has any chunk in his armor and he is batting at his best against Bangladesh. The visitor’s bowlers had no answers to Kohli’s brilliance and they were not able to trouble him at all.

On the other hand, India has put themselves in a commanding position as they lead by more than 150 runs. Meanwhile, Cheteshwar Pujara and vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane scored half-centuries each. Both of them added century alliance with their captain Kohli.
Earlier on day one of the pink-ball Test match, India had bundled out Bangladesh for a mundane score of 106 after Mominul Haque won the toss and decided to bat first. India’s veteran seamer Ishant Sharma was the pick of the bowlers as he scalped five wickets. Furthermore, Umesh Yadav snared three wickets whereas Mohammed Shami took two wickets.
