Currently, UAE are leading this series by 1-0. While the hosts won the first ODI by 6 wickets, which was also their first-ever ODI victory against Ireland, the next two ODIs were cancelled due to COVID-19 health concerns.
The fourth ODI has been rescheduled on Monday after UAE authorities gave the green signal for the UAE squad to restart their competitive cricket.
