Ashish Nehra has recently made a comeback in international cricket during Indias’ tour of Australia. His outstanding spell against Australia and later in the Asia confirmed his World T20 berth for India.

He bowled remarkably well in the World T20, even in the match against Bangladesh captain MS Dhoni consulted with Ashish Nehra.

But time was different when Nehra was a senior member of Sourav Ganguly’ team. And he was bowling against Pakistan batsman Shahid Afridi in a series in India. Afridi edged Nehra’s swinger which was leaving outside of the off stump.

Afridi edged the ball Dhoni missed the catch. Angry Nehra abused junior Dhoni.

Nehra since then ruled out from the team for his injury and Dhoni gradually cemented his position in the team and become captain of the Indian T20 and later ODI and Test captain. Dhoni went on to win all existing trophies of Asian Cricket Council and ICC.

Now Dhoni has to take a decision about picking up players for 2011 World Cup. He chooses Nehra for the second Indian seamer. Nehra was dropped from the final game. However,

Nehra has become Dhoni’s bowler to go during the 2016 World T20.
