Indian captain Virat Kohli easily gets motivated and influenced by the Indian crowd in the field during the match. We have witnessed him getting pumped up with the support of fans. However, now things may change post-COVID-19 as games are likely to be played behind closed doors to further decrease the spread of the virus.
The novel virus has put the sports industry in a standstill. The Indian cricketers haven’t played a match since March. And with lockdown getting extended, the cricket lovers might have to wait for longer to watch their favourites playing in the field.

Meanwhile, there are planing going around if cricket matches get resumed, then what precautions can be taken. The first and foremost step that might be taken is to organise the matches behind closed doors. The Indian skipper, in his recent interview, has talked on the same subject.
The aggressive player, Virat Kohli, agrees that the atmosphere in the field might be different without fans but he feels that the matches should be played. He further added that he couldn’t imagine how other players will react to such situations.
“It’s quite a possible situation, it might happen, I honestly don’t know how everyone is going to take that because we all are used to playing in front of so many passionate fans.
“I know it will be played at a very good intensity but that feeling of the crowd connecting with the players and the tension of the game where everyone goes through it in the stadium, those emotions are very difficult to recreate.

“Things will still go on, but I doubt that one will feel that magic happening inside because of the atmosphere that was created.
“We will play sports how it is supposed to be played, but those magical moments will be difficult to come by,” Kohli said during the ‘Cricket Connected’ show on Star Sports.
