India is currently playing the second Test match against South Africa at Pune. On the second day of the second Test match, the skipper Virat Kohli struck his seventh double century. He has become the first Indian to struck seven double centuries in the Test cricket.
After the end of the second day of the second Test match, Virat Kohli was asked about his favourite Test double century. He said that his first double century against West Indies in Antigua and the one he scored against England in Mumbai are two of his favourite double centuries.
Virat Kohli had to struggle a lot for scoring a double century in Mumbai as the conditions were hot and humid. He scored 235 against England and India went on to win that match by an innings and 36 runs.

“All are nice. Obviously all double hundreds feel good but I think if you ask me the top two would be Antigua and Mumbai (against England). All double hundreds are special but those two are more special to me because one was away from home. another one against England in challenging conditions. It was very hot and humid there also,” Virat said while talking to BCCI.TV.”
Virat Kohli is playing the 50th Test match as the captain. He is the most successful Indian Test captain as under him India has won 29 Test match.
The second day at Pune for India was outstanding as Virat Kohli scored a double century, Ajinkya Rahane struck a half-century and Ravindra Jadeja scored 91 runs. The Proteas were not able to stop the Indian batsmen in scoring runs as India set a big first-innings total. At the end of the day, Proteas had lost three wickets after scoring 36 runs.
South Africa has already lost the first Test match in Visakhapatnam. They must set themselves in the field on the third day to reply strongly.
