Virat Kohli’s behaviour at the post-match press conference, after losing the Test series 2-0, clearly reflected that he is thoroughly disappointed with his performance against New Zealand. He lashed out at New Zealand journalist, who asked him a bold question – and now his previous other statements are doing the rounds on the internet

The Indian skipper Kohli was unable to score a fifty in four Test innings. So much so, he could not even touch a 20-run mark in the recently-held Test series. His performance has astonished Indian fans and his avid followers across the globe, too.

Therefore, Kohli’s frustration was visible on the field when the opposition lost the wicket, he was caught hurling expletives at New Zealand fans during the second Test in Christchurch.

So, Kohli’s behaviour was questioned by a media person at the post-match conference. Thus, Kohli seemed annoyed by the reporter.

On Day 3, before the end of the play, the Indian skipper was caught using cuss words during New Zealand’s second innings at Hagley Oval.

Jab India mein yeh log aatengey, tab dikha doonga (I will show them when they come to India),” said the Delhi born cricketer according to Indian Express.

This statement by Kohli, who is admired in the cricket world, was criticised by his fans. His statement is clearly against the sportsmanship, especially being a dynamic leader of World’s No. 1 Test team.

However, it also clears that Kohli is very confident about his team’s performance at home.

Evidently, they have beaten South Africa and Bangladesh pretty easily in the previous home season to enjoy the numero uno position.

So, it will be interesting to see the team’s performance when New Zealand tour India.

Meanwhile, South Africa will tour India to play three-match ODI series which will be played between 12th March and 18th March.
